Dr. Neil Ermitano

About Me

Dr. Ermitano was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he completed his pre-collegiate studies at Little Rock Catholic High School for Boys. He graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, and then went on to attend the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Ermitano completed a three-year residency in Forefoot and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. While in residency, he spent several months on rotation at Fort Leonard Wood Army Base seeing and treating various pathologies not uncommon to members of the Armed Forces. Dr. Ermitano also completed a traveling fellowship in Europe with the German Society of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Ermitano is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is Board Qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in Forefoot and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Ermitano joined Associated Foot Surgeons in 2019 and practices at the Belleville, O’Fallon, and Staunton, Illinois locations.
